MANAGEMENT

The present Chairman has his roots strongly embedded in the school. He was one of the first Indian students to be admitted into Sheiling House which was clearly an exclusive British domain called U.K.C.A. i.e. (United Kingdom Citizens’ Association) Mr. Rustomji has been a member of the Governing body since 1985. All his children studied in this school. He is an entrepreneur and a philanthropist from the business sector.  He is a member of TIE, a social activist, he is actively involved with the administration and day to day working of the institution along with quality education and infrastructural building of Sheiling House School and instrumental in taking Sheiling House to “Greater Heights”.

She is the oldest serving member of the Governing Body and has been associated with the school since 1963 as a parent and committee member. British by origin she is more Indian than an Indian, dedicating her entire life to social service in this country, actively involved with the “Mother Teresa” organisation and the Cancer Society including McRobert Hospital. She finds time to dedicate her talent for the upliftment of Sheiling House School which she considers one of the best schools catering to academics and inculcating moral values in the child. Inspite of her busy schedule she finds time for the administration and day to day work of the institution. Two of her own children and grandchildren studied in this school. Her untiring selfless dedication to the school speaks volumes for her love of Sheiling House.

Mr. Shukla has been associated with the school since 1965 and member of managing committee since 1975. He is an old associate of BIC (British India Corporation). At a young age of 19 years, he left for Bombay and stayed there for 5 years. He was Honorary Secretary of “Hamara Samaj” Vile Park, Bombay one of Society involved in Social and Cultural activities and established a library there.  His children and now his grandchildren are studying in Sheiling House School. A pioneer in bringing up Sheiling House School, he even laid the foundation stone of the School building known as the “Senior Wing” in Allenganj. Although a busy entrepreneur, he still looks after the finance and legal matters of the school. A social worker who contributes his might in making the society a better place to live in.

Mr. Dhawan did his schooling from Birla Public School and subsequently graduated from Christ Church College, Kanpur. He commenced his business career in Kolkata as an entrepreneur. In 1980 he shifted base to Kanpur and at present he is a successful leather exporter. He is an eminent citizen, a recognized personality, philanthropist and social worker doing his bit for the society.

Ms. V. Mehrotra is an educationist from heart. She has been working for the cause of quality education, personalized care of children and their over-all development for more them two decades now. Known for her zeal, enthusiasm, sincerity and dedication she not only leads by example, but is also a pillar of strength and support for all her students and staff.

Ms. Vajpeyei is just another epitome of achievement in Sheiling House history. Selflessly devoted with a penchant for perfection. Ms. Vajpeyei’s love for children and total dedication for their upkeep, is an asset for the school. She devotes her time and energy for the betterment of the school and has been with the school for over two decades.
